Our copyediting service can help you refine and polish your book and make it print ready.  A professional editor will review your manuscript and give you suggested corrections for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and correct any typos present in the text.

 

Our editor will use The Chicago Manual of Style, 16th edition, the preferred style guide in the book publishing industry, and the Merriam-Webster dictionary while editing your manuscript.  The editor will review your manuscript and correct typos and ensure consistency in:

·         Punctuation

·         Spelling

 

Our editor will also provide a report explaining the suggested changes made in the manuscript.

Price: $150 up to 10,000 words and $0.015/word for over 10,000.

Will my manuscript be error free after editing?

Editing is a process and there is usually multiple editing sessions.  Even after a book has been edited expertly it is not uncommon to have a small number of errors in the book when it is first printed.  These errors are easily corrected, and you will have a clean, error free version of your book ready for print.

 

Will I be able to speak directly with my editor?

You will be able to contact your editor via email. The editor may also want to contact you by phone for more complex corrections.

 

In what format does my manuscript need to be?

Your manuscript will need to be in Microsoft Word which is the industry standard format.
